Mr. Yu is one of the founding partners of L & Y Office and the sole proprietor of Henry Yu and Associates. He obtained his law bachelor degree in England and is qualified as a solicitor in both England and Wales and Hong Kong. Mr. Yu has also obtained the qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Mr. Yu served as the Deputy Head of Legal Counsel of a major investment bank after he had worked for various international and Magic Circle law firms. Mr. Yu has rich experience in handling legal matters relating to corporate and commercial transactions, IPO, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment, financing, fund formation, regulatory, licensing and commercial and shareholders’ disputes etc.
Over the recent years, Mr. Yu has developed strong interest in the blockchain industry and his enthusiasm and insightful views have been affirmed widely by various professional bodies. Mr. Yu is a member of the Innotech Committee (formerly known the Technology Committee) of the Law Society of Hong Kong, and has also been appointed as the Hon. Legal Advisor to The Hong Kong Federation of Innovation an Invention, Hon. Legal Advisor to the Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia and Hon. Legal Advisor to the Bitcoin Association of Hong Kong. From time to time, he represents the Bitcoin Community at meetings with the Legislative Council Members, The HKMA and the FTSB. In addition, Mr. Yu is the overseas Executive Dean of the China Commercial Blockchain Legal Institute. He is awarded the “China Commercial 2019 Outstanding Contribution Award”.

Ms. Chong is a partner of the firm. She graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in law and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws. She also obtained Master of Laws in International Business from the University of Manchester and was admitted to practice law in Hong Kong since 2007.
Having worked as a solicitor and/or partner in an intellectual property law firm, Ms. Chong is specialised in the areas of legal services relating to intellectual property rights (including trademarks, patents, designs, copyrights and counterfeiting), brand protection and enforcement, handling of trademark applications and IP litigation. Ms. Chong also has extensive experience in civil litigation, particularly in contract law, company law, commercial law and Mainland Client matters.
In addition, Ms. Chong provides legal advice for domestic and Hong Kong companies in M&As and restructurings, and advises clients on various license applications and regulatory matters.

Jenny Chu practices primarily in the areas of corporate finance and general commercial transactions. In particular, Jenny has extensive experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, pre-IPO restructuring and financing, equity funding, initial public offerings, right issues and convertible bond trading.
Jenny has advised investment banks and companies based in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and Canada on transactions and projects related to a diverse range of industries including finance, mining, entertainment, retail, utility and infrastructure, telecommunication, food and beverage, logistics, technology, manufacturing and distribution.
Jenny regularly advises Hong Kong listed issuers on listing rules related compliance matters, regulatory enquiries and other corporate transactions.

Mr. Woo is a consultant of K.Y. Woo & Co and his practice focuses on equity capital markets, M&A and listed company representation matters, particularly in connection with pre-IPO investments, listings, privatizations, compliance with listing rules and takeovers code, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity work.
Mr. Woo has more than 17 years of experience counselling numerous Chinese and international companies, private equity firms, public sector entities, and investment and commercial banks on their securities offerings and investments across Asia. He advises on a broad range of business sectors, including energy and mining, financial services, real estate, agriculture, technology, media and telecommunications. Mr. Woo is a China Appointed Attesting Officer (2018).

Ms. Josephine Lee served as a senior legal counsel for international law firms. Since then, she served as the Asia Pacific Managing Director and General Counsel of the Real Estate Investment Division of a global insurance company covering Asia (excluding Japan), and subsequently served as the Asia Pacific Head of Closing Services of another US listed investment management company for over 12 years. She has experience in establishing and leading a large legal team in more than 10 jurisdictions including Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. She is a trusted advisor to the multinational companies. She is the only female member appointed to the Asian Investment Committee and Asian Executive Committee.
Josephine was involved in the formation and operation of private equity funds, full-cycle cross-border investments (from acquisitions, financing/refinancing, asset management to disposal), guarantee and non-guaranteed loan financing, mergers and acquisitions, and other general corporate and commercial transactions.

Brian is a corporate finance and commercial lawyer. Prior to joining our firm, Brian completed the two-year traineeship program at a leading local law firm in Hong Kong specializing in commercial and corporate finance, and contentious commercial matters. He currently focuses on corporate finance and commercial matters, including bond issuance, private investments, advising Hong Kong public and private companies on compliance matters and other general commercial matters.
